前言
前些日子其中一台 ESXi Host 成員 CPU/Memory 損壞，更換相關料件後重新啟動且運作正常，觀察一陣子過後想要將 VM 虛擬主機 遷移(Migration)或佈署(Deploy) 至該台 ESXi Host 時，卻發生無法針對該主機進行管理的錯誤訊息「The operation is not allowed in the current connection state of the host」。
實作環境
- VMware vCenter Server 5.1
- VMware vSphere ESXi 5.1 (1065491)
故障排除
詳細的故障排除資訊請參考 VMware KB 2046356 - Migrating a virtual machine in vSphere 5.x fails with the error: The operation is not allowed in the current connection state of the host 文章，以下簡述其處理方式：1. 將 vCenter Server 主機重新啟動。
2. 透過 DCUI 將 ESXi 主機上的 Management Agents 重新啟動。
3. 重新連線至 vCenter Server，將該台 ESXi 主機進行「重新連線 (Disconnect and Reconnect)」的動作即可。
本次實作環境經過上述處理後，便恢復為可以對 ESXi 主機進行遠端操作管理等動作了 :)
